If you enjoyed Green's TFIOS, you will adore Paper Towns. Paper Town's is about a boy, Q, saving the cliche love of his life. Kidnapped, murdered.. assassinated? No. She ran away. How? Why? Nobody knows. But Q wants to know, before the clock strikes 12. Or else he may be discovering the mourning of her existence, not the answers to his compulsive desire to find her. Among the helpless crush, there is adventure and plenty of comedy, particularly by the peculiar best friends. I rate this higher than TFIOS, this constantly had be on my toes, I never put it down! I read it in one sitting; I couldn't dare to close on a cliff hanger.

This is my favourite story of all time. The setting and layout of the novel is the tip off the iceberg to originality. It is set as a cassette player, with stop, start, pause, play and forward/backward buttons throughout the pages. Clay Jensen, receives a mystery package, filled with cassettes. Thirteen to be exact. Each dedicated to a local classmate, and relatives of classmates from his school. He's on them. Left by the one and only, Hannah Baker, the girl who killed herself two weeks prior, and also the love of Clay's life. Hopelessly, Clay scraps the pieces to his crush's broken soul, finding the thirteen reasons why the demons were too much to cope with. You can hear Hannah's tapes at her blog, spoken by Selena Gomez. Warning- triggers may be inside, as well as emotional torment of the dead loves. But, if you enjoyed Augustus and Hazel, this is similar. Except one was dead from the start.

- The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Peter Chbosky
Romcom/Angst
I won't spoil this one too much, there is already a movie on it. Charlie was just an average boy. Adolescence, the largest hurdle a hormonal teenager must tackle. Observing everything from the sideline, wallflower Charlie learns a thing or two from the ones who live life. By joining the dance on the gym floor, like any other ignorant, high schooler is doing. Coming of age is no better described than this modern classic. After you've read this, feel free to stare at Logan Lerman's beautiful face portray Charlie and the accurate adapted film. Love, laughter, pain, demons... it's the perfect combination for a book that will change your life. Especially for all you adolscent-to-be's.
