Photoshoot Preview

Heya! MASSIVE blog posts will come AFTER I finish my HUGE exams. HOWEVER, I still have one more exam in 5 days... so I took today off from studying to do a quick re-organisation of bookish goodness. I've refined my TBR, mainly because I will have 20 free days of nothingness before my schoolies/vacation to NYC. Issue? I can't bring any paper/hardbacks! Just my kindle. I did a sneaky photoshoot while reorganising: My Twilight collection so far... I just need a couple more books to complete it! Read all of these in 19 days? 31 books in 19 days... START WITH REREADING TWILIGHT I'll give a proper update soon! Thank you for all who continue to read my blog <3 Now to update my Kindle TBR... the other one

Sleepover

Hello, blog readers! More book memes will be coming to you, but I thought I'd first update you. I'm still as obsessed to Twilight as ever. S much so that at the sleepover at best friend's house had an entire hour dedicated towards Tashapolis' exploration of the movie set. At about 3:30 yesterday, my friend picked me up and we went to her formal (prom) dress fitting-- very glamorous. I want to buy all the bridal dresses. Then we went to Maccas (McDonalds), thank god. I needed some unhealthy food. We headed home and binged watched 7 hours (we were up til 2am) watching the Secret Life of the American Teenager ('Secret Life'). So much safe sex education. So much. We loved every second! Accompanied by lots, and lots, of tea. And rocky road. And chocolate. A jam toast. Unfortunately, the biggest exams I have to take, are within a WEEK. The beginning English Modules, to start. Every day from now on, I have to go to the library for study groups. I have...

Carrier of the Mark Review

Image
Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon 3/5 stars. Honestly, this started as a 4/5 but slowly got worse . I'm sorry that happened, I didn't see it coming but it did :/ Why is this a 3/5 stars? 1. If you kept up to date with my status updates, you'd know this was super instalove centric. And I know, this is a typical thing reviewers complain about in YA Romances… but this one was like the biggest sinner of them all. New, cliche outcast girl moves to a new city. She catches a glimpse of the bad boy/super hot guy everybody adores. And you know what? Who can blame her?  However, she doesn't speak to him for a month , but asks around through her friends/classmates about him. She is actively aware of how sappy her crush is, as seen through her reaction to her new BFF, Caitlin, and her crush/boyfriend/ex Killian or some Irish name (that was a positive: the author kept the background setting very authentic to the culture, which I largely apprec...

Mailbox Monday #2

Image
G'day, my fellow dudes. Today we're going to hit it off with  Mailbox Monday . The last time I made this, it was a week before my birthday. Now it's a month later, and boy, did I get a lot of books. Over 20, in fact.  I spent my birthday evening showing my best friend all the books I got, and why I'm excited to read them.  Already I've read a few:  Falling Under Everneath and several trashy romances on my new Kindle!!! Hopefully I'll make a post in the sometime future, showcasing all the books I received. I got so many, I've run out of space on my shelves. They're now sitting in small piles around my bed (secretly I'm making a book throne).  Other books I received were: Of Poseidon (Paperback)- Anna Bank The Goddess Test (Paperback)- Aimee Carter See Me (Paperback)- Wendy Higgins Landline (Paperback)- Rainbow Rowell Never Always Sometimes (Paperback)- Adi Alsaid Adulthood is a Myth: A Sarah s Scribbles...

Cover Characteristic #2

Image
The final book meme for this week is inspired by  Sugar and Snark.   post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite cover’s with that characteristic The theme I'm picking is:  Couples (preferably embracing) 5: This Shattered World I just love how they're reaching for each other. Although, I hated that his shirt was undone. It was embarrassing to read in public. 4: The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer I adore all three covers in the trilogy, as it shows how beautifully complex Mara and Noah's relationship is. Some could argue the guy in the cover is actually Jules, dragging her down. I like to see it as Noah and Mara, clinging onto each other as they drown in their love. 3: Silence Need I say anything else??? The Hush, Hush Saga has such gorgeous covers! Plus... it's Patch. Immediate win. 2: Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side I love the story. A lot. You guys would know, as I mention in all my reviews . Oops. Anywyas: the embrace is sweet,...
