Beautiful Darkness (Beautiful Creatures #2) Review
Beautiful Darkness (Beautiful Creatures #2) by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
4/5 stars.
THIS WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST INSTALMENT!!!!
Lena and Ethan were so much more mature, with even greater passion than the first one. There was a lack of awkwardness that I felt from the first book.
The middle's angsty turn of events was unnecessary to me. Especially since their was no conclusion at the end. I felt like by the end it was very anticlimactic. So much build up, and of course, I have to read the next book.
I feel like Lena barely had a part in this book. She didn't physically say much. Was their telepathic bond an excuse for the author to not use "" anymore? Who knows?
I'm so pleased with this book, it had an excellent pace that was significantly more upbeat than the first.
