Today I'm showing the first sentence from Existence (Existence Trilogy #1) by Abbi Glines:

I think this story will have instalove, for sure. And some sort of teen angst between the female protag and either her father or best friend. She'll think she's completely inadequate for him; this 2 dimensional paranormal love interest who shows no affection to her until after they proclaim their love. Until then; he'll be stark cold.

How right was I?
